INSPIRATIONAL QUOTES

Every entry begins with an inspirational quote. Starting your morning with wisdom and motivation will set the tone for the rest of your journal entry and your day. Positive quotes help reinforce positivity into your day and boost your mood.

MENTAL HEALTH CHECK

Emotional intelligence is a great indicator for success and happiness. Learning to recognize and accept how you feel is the key to letting go and moving to better feelings. This quick exercise helps you stop the habit of ignoring, numbing or stuffing your feelings down. Instead, you’ll identify, label, accept, and move towards a better feeling. If you’ve never paid attention to your feelings, you might have a hard time with this check in. Take your time with it, and be gentle with yourself. Soon, you’ll be a pro at identifying your emotions. We have included a mood check in on the morning entry and a more in-depth mental health check in the evening.

GRATITUDE CHECK

Every day is a fresh start. Wake up with a grateful heart.

Gratitude turns what we have into enough. It allows us to fully appreciate the present moment and be mindful of what is good right in our lives. It is also one of THE MOST powerful aspects of positivity. I credit it to being the key element in transforming my life and so do millions of other people around the world. This is why I’ve included gratitude both in the morning and evening entries in this journal. When you end your day with an attitude of gratitude, you trigger positive vibes and create long term positive memories in the subconscious and that’s only the beginning. Gratitude is simple yet life changing!

Studies show that people who write down their goals on paper are 42% more likely to achieve them than people who don’t. That’s why I’ve included a morning goal setting routine after your daily affirmations.

I’ve also included a “Wins” section, so you can build the muscle of acknowledging when things go right. Write down three things each day that went right and made you feel like a winner. Then, for added impact in your life, see if you can tap into the emotion of being a winner. When we focus on our wins, we give ourselves permission to win more often.
